Our drain engineers were recently called-out to the prestigious Brooks’s Club in St. James’s Street, Pall Mall, London SW1A to carry out a CCTV drain survey to identify and resolve a problematic blocked drain.
When our drain engineer arrived on site they were unable to complete the CCTV drain survey due the double seal inspection covers being seized. As a result they were unable to lift the inspection covers to gain immediate access and deploy the CCTV camera. Unperturbed, our expert drain engineer broke-out the seized inspection covers and frames from the tiled floor, so the CCTV drain survey could then be carried out.
Once the surface was prepared and new frames fitted in place, our drain engineer installed new double seal inspection covers. Having set the frame and drain cover in the location, the floor tiling in and around the inspection cover was then re-tiled. Whilst this was beyond the initial expectation of the visit, the client was delighted with the drain repairs when they realised our engineer had been able to resolve the fault and return the floor surface to its original finish.
A CCTV drain survey was also completed to identify the fault with the drainage system, Our drain engineer was able to locate the problem and remove the blockage in the drain. He then flushed the drain clean with specialised high pressure water jetting equipment.
In all, normal service was swiftly returned to the Brooks’s Club with a minimal fuss and our clients were very happy.
